DELANO, CA - 28SEPTEMBER06 - Grape workers and union organizers at a rally at the "Forty Acres," the historic home of the United Farm Workers.  Filipino immigrant workers pray at the start of the rally, together with UFW founder Dolores Huerta and President Arturo Rodriguez.  One of the union's original organizers sings songs from the UFW's first campaigns.  The rally was organized to encourage workers at VBZ, a large Delano table grape grower, to vote for the union in an election held the following day.  Despite the determination of pro-union workers, however, the grower and labor contractors were able to use a campaign of fear and intimidation to defeat them.
