Jesse Ventura was a Big time Wrestler, which is to say an actor, a thespian. He won Governor as an Independent, beating Democrats and Republicans. He is a successful Nader. He has the character, personality that can appeal to the real American "middle" working class Plumber Joes, the hardhats. For him to adopt this rhetoric is portentous.
He is probably capturing the mood of the more militant, and really a broad sweep of the working class; he is articulating it in this statement in a substantially theoretically correct way. Without revolutionary theory there can be no revolutionary movements. Ventura is an organic American intellectual, but has to hide his intellectualism because of the American anti-intellectual tradition.
He has the character, personality that can appeal to the real American "middle" working class Plumber Joes, the hardhats. The reason I say this is that he has already won a Governor's race! He has proved his theory in practice.
It is significant that Jesse Ventura in particular has chosen to use such precise left rhetoric at this time. He is reading receptivity for this in the US working class, and he has a history of reading the American middle class accurately; for as I say above, witness his successful run for governor.

So you're saying Ventura's opportunism suggests something important about the way millions of Americans are thinking about the ruling class?
