The blog article I posted for  this week's Marxist IQ said the GOP's informercial convention was this week, not next.  This may have been a response to what was an unpleasant topic.  I have watched every Republican convention(as much as I could anyway with gastrointestinal problems) since I was eight years old in 1952.  The only positive thing that I can say about next week's convention is that we won't have Nixon to kick around any more, although Paul Ryan seems to have some of Tricky Dick's qualities and worse formal politics
