Athens Declaration approved in the WIDF Steering Committee Meeting, held in Athens, Greece, December 11-13 2008.
The WIDF Steering Committee meeting that took place in Athens on 11-13 November 2008 with the participation of WIDF organizations from the following countries: Vietnam, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Philippines, Angola, Mozambique, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Cyprus, Portugal, Russia, United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Greece, was held in a fighting spirit of sisterhood and international solidarity. The SC also gave steps towards the reinforcement of WIDF by approving a Financial Commission and a Commission to write the WIDF Internal Rules which will contribute for a better consolidation of work in the future.
