FOX News Contributor Calls for 'Knocking Off' Barack Obama

FOX News contributor and former editor with the Washington Times, Liz Trotta, in an interview on FOX News on Sunday, May 25, expressed a desire to 'knock off' presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

During a discussion of Hillary Clinton's unfortunate comment on the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 to bolster her case for staying in the race, Trotta said, '[…] and now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama. Um, uh, Obama. Well both, if we could.”

Trotta then laughed.

FOX News host Eric Shawn responded by chuckling and saying, 'Talk about how you really feel.'

Trotta is currently a reporter for the Chicago Tribune and Newsday.

Huffington Post writer Joe Vogel today posted ways for readers to speak up about Liz Trotta's comments.

In comments, readers should be polite but firm. FOX News executives should understand that readers plan to join boycotts of FOX News sponsors until Trotta and Shawn are fired for this reprehensible behavior. You can write to the following people:
